Who we are

Medha Siddhi is operated by Medha Siddhi. We decide how and why the personal data described here is used, and we are responsible for it.

What we collect

  • About the parent or guardian: name, mobile number, city, email if given, and a record of your consent.
  • About the student: name, class, target exam and current coaching; results of the free AI tests and the Scholarship Test; and, once enrolled, attendance, study plan progress, mock scores, doubts asked, and notes from mentor sessions.
  • Wellbeing check-ins: short notes on sleep, stress and motivation recorded by the mentor during weekly sessions.
  • Technical data: an anonymous device identifier stored in your browser so practice-test history works without an account, and your IP address, used only to prevent abuse and limit AI usage.
  • Payments: handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store card or bank details.

Why we use it

  • To arrange demo classes and counselling calls and to contact you about the programme.
  • To teach and mentor your child, plan their study and send you progress reports.
  • To run the AI Test Portal and decide scholarships.
  • To process fees and refunds.

We do not sell personal data. We do not show advertising to students, and we do not use children's data for advertising or for tracking unrelated to their studies.

Children's data and parental consent

Most of our students are under 18. We collect and use a child's data only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Our forms ask the parent to confirm this, and we confirm consent on a call to the registered mobile number before a child's data is used in the programme. Practice tests on the AI Test Portal need no personal details; their history is kept in your browser.

How AI is used

AI writes practice questions (each checked by a second, independent AI pass), explains solutions, suggests study plans, drafts answers to doubts and drafts weekly reports. Faculty and mentors review drafts before a student or parent receives them. AI is not used to make decisions about admission, fees or scholarships. Test answers sent to our AI provider contain no names or contact details.

Wellbeing information

Wellbeing notes are seen only by the student's mentor and, when needed, our counsellor. Parents are told when there is a concern. Details are shared with parents with the student's agreement, except where we believe the student's safety is at risk, when we inform parents the same day.

Who can see it

Your child's mentor, faculty and our operations team, on a need-to-know basis. We use service providers for hosting and database (Cloudflare), AI (Anthropic), messaging and payments, under terms that require them to protect the data and use it only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

  • Demo, counselling and scholarship enquiries: deleted 6 months after the last contact if the student does not join.
  • Enrolled students: kept for the programme and 12 months after it ends, then deleted, except records we must keep by law, such as fee receipts.
  • Anonymous practice tests: kept for 12 months to improve our questions.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold, correct it, have it deleted, or withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent stops further use but does not affect what was done before. You can also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. We respond within 30 days.

Grievance Officer

Write to us through the Contact page · support@medhasiddhi.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will tell enrolled families on WhatsApp before the change applies to their child's data.
