A weekly study plan for Class 11 JEE that actually holds
Class 11 is where JEE preparation is won or lost, and it is also when school, coaching and adolescence all compete for the same hours. A plan that works is less about long hours and more about a few rules kept every week.
Six rules
- Practise within 24 hours of each class. A daily practice paper (DPP) solved the same evening fixes the method before it fades.
- Keep an error log. For every mistake, write whether it was a concept gap, a silly mistake or time pressure. Concept gaps go back into next week's plan.
- Revise on a schedule. Revisit each chapter 3, 7 and 21 days after learning it. Short revisions at the right time beat long ones at the wrong time.
- Take a full mock every two weeks on the real pattern, at the real exam time of day.
- Protect sleep. Seven to eight hours. Late-night study looks productive and shows up as careless errors in the next mock.
- Review every Sunday. Twenty minutes: what slipped, what is next, and one thing to stop doing.
A sample week
| Day | Plan |
|---|---|
| Mon | Physics class · Physics DPP · 30 min revision of due chapters |
| Tue | Maths class · Maths DPP · error log |
| Wed | Chemistry class · Chemistry DPP · mentor 1:1 |
| Thu | School tests or revision drills · weak-chapter practice |
| Fri | Maths class · chapter test |
| Sat | Full mock (every other week) · mock analysis |
| Sun | Rest in the morning · 20-minute weekly review |
The plan matters less than noticing early when it slips. That is the job of a mentor and, in our programme, of the AI planner that rebuilds each student's next day from their actual results.
